Anyone know of a freeware program to shrink MP3 file?
I need to make an MP3 file smaller for a mobile phone to be able to use it as a ringtone. Is there a way I can either shrink it or cut it down? I was thinking of using an audio editor to cut the last half of it off, but I can’t find one that’s easy to use, free off the net, they seem to be all technical programs. Can somebody who’s good at this stuff please steer me in the right direction?
use sound recorder in windows xp, you’ll find it in the start menu.
it has an option to delete before or after the current point, allowing you to cut a chunk out of the file then re-save it.
