Will the iRiver AFT 100 Mobile FM Transmitter work with other mp3 players and not just iriver mp3 players?
I have a dell dj 30 gb and I want to hear my music threw the speakers in my car. Will it work or is there a better fm transmitter that will work. I also have a cassette player in my car. I don’t know if I should get a fm transmitter or a cassette adapter. I also live in the city. Does anyone have any ideas that will work?
The iRiver AFT 100 will work with any audio device. It connects through the headphone jack. I wouldn’t really suggest the iRiver AFT 100 because you can only use it in your car, unless you get an adapter for an electrical outlet. I have both the iRiver AFT 100 and the C. Crane FMT Digital FM Transmitter. They both work very nicely. The transmitter from C Crane is good for outside of the car, although you could use PC speakers at that point instead of using FM transmitters.
I wouldn’t suggest using a cassette adapter unless you plan to keep your current car for a while longer. If you get a new vehicle, it may not have a cassette player, and you’d have to install one. Then again it may come with an auxilery inlet instead.
