How can I convert VOB files to mp3 files.? ?
I have used Mac the ripper to rip files from dvd. Now I want to convert the resulting vob files to mp3 format so I can listen to them and burn to an audio cd. Prefer freeware if possible. I have roxio popcorn but I don’t think it will do this job.
You’ll need a demuxer for that; VOB files contain both audio and video.
Try TMPGEnc (trialware), or VOB2MPG (freeware); both programs can split streams into separate video and audio.
