Yes, but why?.
Quality:
Changing to a higher bitrate will not improve the quality.
The audio information removed in the initial conversion from wav format is gone and cannot be replaced.
To free up drive space:
Changing to a lower bitrate will not substantially increase free space on the drive.
Could be as little as 4 – 5 Kb per track. The files are already compressed so any further reduction is minimal.
