I think I need to buy a CD burner?
The D drive on my four year old computer will not burn CDs, nor will it play data disks. I need to burn CDs, both audio and data disks. I think that means I need to buy an external burner. If I do would the burner read the disks–can I still download the information from the disks, both audio and data onto my computer? Can I still move stuff to my MP3 player? Would I need to purchase cables or be aware of certain types of cords?
Just buy a cheep SATA or IDE (depending on what kind your computer supports) and install it in place of your old drive.
the drives usually run around 25$ plus shipping.
