Mp3 Ipod Adapter

mp3 ipod adapter
what is the best ipod/mp3 adapter to use in cars?

Does anyone know what the absolute best kind of music adapter I should use in my car? I am so fed up with buying so many different kinds only to be disappointed with annoying static, etc. etc.! I don’t have a tape player so I can’t just use an AUX cord. I am looking for something that can play my ipod in my car with absolutely no annoying static, interruptions, or other complications. HELP!!

Hi there,

I see your problem – you have been stuck with FM transmitters?

You have the wrong idea behind the word AUX. If you had a cassette player you could use a cassette adapter. This is a step up from an FM transmitter, but still not particularly good.

What type of car stereo do you have? A lot of car stereos have an AUX input either on the front or on the back of the stereo. For example – my car stereo has an input at the back for using a CD changer. But I found a cable which would use this input directly from my ipod – and it works perfectly.

I’m afraid if you have no AUX input anywhere on your stereo you are stuck with FM transmitters, or buying a new car stereo. Sorry for the bad news, hope it helps clear things up a little anyway.

Jim.
