uploading my own music to myspace?
What is the best free software that I can use to record my music and then upload it to myspace?
I’ve tried audacity, and while I like it, the LAME encoder thing wont download on my laptop, so I can’t change the music to mp3 form for myspace.
I need something that isn’t rediculously difficult to figure out and it HAS to be FREE!
[I don't care if it's just a trial or if it's the whole download, but it must be free!]
Also, if the software you give me requires me to download something else in order to change sounds to mp3 or something, TELL ME WHAT TO DOWNLOAD!

this is soo simple ok first you go open itunes if you have it if not then download it

get the new itunes 8
and then open it up and play your file in itunes so its in the list of music.
then go to
edit>preferences>general>import settings
then select “import using MP3 ENCODER”
then hit ok and hit ok to apply setting. must hit ok both times.
go back to your song on the itunes list right click and select “Create MP3 Version”
wait till its done, delete the .wav one or the not mp3 version and upload to myspace
