how can i replace alarm sound and notification tones with mp3 files in G1?
i want to change the alarm sounds and notification sounds to my mp3 files for my G1, but i could not find the way to do it, it there a possible way to do it? or it is set by the manufacturer?
also, i have bought a screen protector, but i am wondering if it will demage the screen when i get it off?

You can directly do this by creating this directory structure on your G1 phone:
/Media/audio/notifications/
Once your mp3 is there it will show up as an option for notifications and alarms.
